Background
Our Kick Off for the Red Carpet Event was in May of 2009 at Sol Lounge. The organizations that participated where: Legal Advocates for Abused Women, Legal Services of Eastern Missouri’s Lasting Solutions Program, Alive, Redevelopment Opportunities for Women, Women’s Safe House and RAVEN. There were over 100 legal and non-profit leaders in attendance.
Speakers included representatives from Missouri Office of Prosecution Serves, the Circuit Attorney’s Office of the City of St. Louis- Sex Crimes, Child Abuse and Domestic Violence Units, and the St. Louis Domestic Violence Court. Our sponsor were Coffey Nichols, Midwest Litigation Services, Kevin Gunn and Amy Collignon- Gunn, Thompson Coburn (Kristine Bridges), Rabbitt Pitzer & Snodgrass, P.C. , Sandberg Phoenix and von Gontard PC and Exhale with Style, a subsidiary of the Devin James Group.
